Since its inception in 1983, Liviero Building (Pty) Ltd has established a reputation for reliability and technical excellence in all aspects of construction. Working in both the private and public sectors, the Company has successfully delivered in the industrial, commercial, retail, leisure and residential segments of the industry.

The Company undertakes the construction of office blocks, hospitals and clinics, warehouses, shopping centres, leisure facilities, institutional buildings, apartment blocks, residential complexes, design and build solutions, alterations and additions and more recently, sports stadia. Liviero Building has successfully delivered over 2500 middle and upmarket residential units over the last few years.

The Company is the largest of the operating divisions and was the first privately owned building company to achieve a 9GB grading from the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB). This is the highest rating a Building Company can obtain giving the company unlimited tendering ability.

Among the company’s highlights is the completion of Mooirivier Mall at R606m, the R405m Zimbali Fairmont Hotel and Garden Suites and the R487m upgrade to the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The company has won numerous awards including: “Supreme Builder of the Year” and “Commercial Building of the Year”.

Brad Boertje

Brad Boertje

Brad completed his studies at the University of Natal in 1992 and qualified with a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying.  In 2010 he completed his arbitration studies and became a Fellow of the Association of Arbitrators (South Africa).

He commenced his working career as a Junior QS with M. Coleman Construction, which was a member of the WK Group of companies, in Durban.

Brad filled various key positions being Contract Administrator for Anglo American, Senior QS for Basil Read and Commercial Manager for the London based Kier Group.

In 2005 upon returning to South Africa, Brad joined Liviero Building as Senior QS. He was appointed as Director in 2006 and was responsible for residential developments at that time.  In 2008 he was promoted to Managing Director.
